REGISTRATION OPEN!

The Memorial Forest Discovery Camp is gearing up for another great season of fun in the sun!!  Nella Ivie and Gracie Gleeson will be returning as camp directors and they are making plans for three great 2-week summer sessions.    

The Memorial Forest Club Camp is looking for new counselors for the 2012 summer session(s)!  Teenagers ages 14 - 17 years who are interested in earning money this summer, apply by Monday, April 16. Click here for details and the application.

The Discovery Camp is a family-friendly, neighborhood day camp that provides a fun, safe environment for kids to come and spend time with their friends and make new ones too!

2012 Day Camp Schedule

Session 1: June 5-June 15
► Session 2: June 19-June 29
► Session 3: July 10-July 20
Camp is closed on Monday

Day Camp is limited to 75 children in sessions 1 and 2. Session 3 is limited to 50 campers.
 
 
Regular day camp hours:
► 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. A $15.00 late fee will be charged for children picked up after 1:10 p.m.

Day Camp Fees

► Members $250.00 for 1st child
► $200.00 for all other children of the same family
► Non-members $300.00 for each child

Camp is designed for children ages 5 through 10 years. Children are grouped by age and grade level, with a maximum ratio of 5 campers to 1 counselor.  Your child must be 5-10 years old as of June 1, 2012. 

Counselors will lead the campers through several activities each day, including swimming, indoor and outdoor games, and arts and crafts.  All children must be able to swim without any flotation devices. 

A mid-morning snack is provided and children can buy lunch at the Snack Bar.  Children should bring lunch if they choose not to buy at the Snack Bar.

Memorial Forest Club members will be given priority IF their registration form is received before Tuesday, May 1. 

Beginning Wednesday, May 2, Member and Non-member applications will be placed in the sessions they have requested. Application forms are handled in the order as they are received.

Non-members may send their applications as soon as you are able and will be dated when received.  You will be notified for the session(s) to which your child has been assigned and if they did not make the session(s) you requested.


In order for your child to attend camp, we MUST have your application and emergency form by the aforementioned dates.
