The Memorial Forest Club pool and clubhouse are open during the summer months, generally from the beginning of May to the end of September. The tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts and open all year.
The Clubhouse may be rented for parties, dances, and receptions, and meetings on a first come, first served basis by members, groups, organizations, and civic clubs in the Memorial area. Please refer to the MFC rental contract for a complete set of club rules. The rental contract can be obtained by contacting the Rental Director.
Clubhouse Rules:
1. Clean-Up: The Clubhouse must be cleaned of all spills and litter before leaving. If any item is impossible to remove before leaving, then it must be cleaned or removed before the Clubhouse is opened to the members the next day.
2. Trash: All trash must be placed in plastic garbage bags, securely tied, and placed in the trash area located by the Plantation entrance with the gate securely closed. Renter must remove all trash.
3. Decorations: Nothing may be attached to ceiling tiles, ceiling beams, or the ceiling fans. No duct tape, strapping tape, tacks, staples, or pushpins may be affixed to the mantle, walls, doors, woodwork, etc. Ladders and step stools must not be placed against or touch the walls or doors.
4. Rented Equipment:
a. Chairs and tables must be carried, not dragged.
b. Furniture may not be stacked against the walls or doors at any time.
c. The renter is responsible for cleaning and returning chairs and tables to the furniture closet.
5. Candy and “glow-sticks” are NOT PERMITTED at any rental event in the Clubhouse.
6. Cooking: No cooking or barbecuing is allowed on the premises.
7. Audio Equipment: No more than four (4) – amplified instruments are permitted; the sound must not disturb adjacent property owners.
8. Traffic Control: Assistance must be provided for crowds over 75.
9. Security: Renter must arrange for, and provide, at the renter’s expense, a uniformed security officer for all teen parties and for all events with over 75 guests.
10. Smoking: The Memorial Forest Club is a smoke-free facility.
